XIX. World Congress of the International Commission of Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering (CIGR) to be held in Kyrenia, Northern Cyprus on April 2018.
Cyprus is the 3rd largest island in the Mediterranean with spectacular scenery and enviable climate. An island of beauty and a country of contrast with its cool, pine-clad mountains forming a complete scene-change after golden sun-kissed beaches and its tranquil timeless villages being in striking contrast to modern cosmopolitan towns; luxurius beachside hotels with large convention centers for meetings. Direct flights are available from major European cities to Larneca Airport / from several destinations in Europe and Istanbul to Ercan Airport in Nicosia (Lefkose).
The Congress will still be organized in cooperation with the Turkish Chamber of Agricultural Engineers, Akdeniz University and Ege University and it is the most important and the biggest event for the international community of Agricultural Engineers. This Congress will give an excellent possibility to present your current studies, discuss new ideas, technologies, processes, application experiences and machines, developing new collaborations between academics, researchers, developers, engineers, experts, students and also practitioners.
