The Presidential Decree has been proclaimed on Supporting Agricultural-Based Economic Investments and Rural Economic Infrastructure Investments within the Scope of Rural Development Supports!
Presidential Decree on Supporting Agricultural-Based Economic Investments and Rural Economic Infrastructure Investments within the Scope of Rural Development Supports" was published in the Official Gazette dated 28 July 2020. The communiqué and implementation guide regarding the decision will be published in the coming days. The decree is set to be effective from 01 January 2021.
Major investment headings covered by the decision:
1. Economic investment issues based on agriculture:
a) Investments for processing, drying, freezing, storage and packaging of agricultural products
b) Fixed investments in agricultural production
c) To fulfill the energy requirements of the facilities that are among the agriculture-based economic investment subjects within the scope of the Decree; facilities generating heat and/or unlicensed electricity from geothermal and biogas from renewable energy sources and facilities generating unlicensed electricity from solar and wind energy
ç) Aquaculture Investments
d) Investments in the packaging and storage of animal manure and compost processing
2. Rural economic infrastructure investment issues:
a) Infrastructure investments for the development of family businesses
b) Beekeeping and investments in bee products
c) Information systems and education
ç) Handicrafts and value-added products
d) Sericulture
e) Aquaculture
f) Machinery parks for agricultural cooperatives and unions
