Price Index News Release: Annual Increase in Ag-Machinery Input Prices Were %11,58 in August!
According to the Agricultural Input Price Index (Agricultural-IPI) monthly bulletin published by TurkStat, Agriculture- Price Index (2015 = 100), went up by %1,43, with a rise of %5,43 compare to December of the previous year, %8,11 year-on-year and increased by %8,12 compared to twelve-months average in August.
As of August 2020, the annual inflation rate edged up to %11,77, while the index in agricultural machinery prices * (materials) rose by %11,58, with an increase of %1,19 month-on-month.
The highest annual decrease was %7.63 in the veterinary expenses subgroup.
Moreover, the other subgroup that indicated a decrease was plant protection and pesticides with 2,12% amongst the subgroups. On the other hand, maintenance of materials with 21.82%, animal feeding products with 10,37%, and other goods and services with 9,73% were the subgroups where high annual increases realized.
* Agricultural machinery was also considered within the scope of goods and services that contribute to agricultural investment. All data were gathered from 77 official tractor and farm equipment dealers.
