Turkish Tractor Production Resumed Its Upward Trend in September!
According to the preliminary data released for the 3rd quarter of 2020, Turkish tractor production rose by 75 percent in September compared with the same time last year. Despite rising pandemic cases and restrictions, Turkey’s tractor production grew more than expected in this period.
About 5,953 units rolled off the production lines at Turkish tractor plants as output for the domestic market, tractor registrations rose by 46 percent in September. On the other side, quite the contrary to domestic sales, the export market took a decisive downward turn, falling from 1,997 units to 1,274 units, more than 36 percent below their level a year before in 2020. The figures from the Trafic Registration Bureau show that only 30.960 tractors were registered in the first 9 months of 2020.
