Bulletin of Implementation Principles on Supporting Investments in Large and Small Ruminant Breeding Enterprises!
As declared in the Communique on May 20, details of the program for bovine and ovine livestock enterprises have been published in the official journal. By extension, construction, machinery, and equipment support will be given to cattle and ovine producers. Regulatory issues within the scope of the investments in preparing feed, manure scraper, portable milking machines, milk cooling tanks, animal scratching unit, and automatic waterer reception will be supported as a 50 percent grant.
The general principles for the machinery investments are as follows:
a) The feed preparation machine, manure scraper system, portable milking machine, milk cooling tank, animal grooming unit, and automatic drinkers must be new, unused, with a test report, TSE or CE certified, and comply with the capacity of the project. The necessary documents and technical specifications for the machinery, tools, and equipment are specified in the application guide.
b) To figure out the upper limit for the grant of machinery, tools, and equipment, the provincial project execution unit shall conduct market research and determine the final prices considering the indicative prices set by the Ministry of Agriculture. All prices will be evaluated to find the lowest price for the investment as the basis for the Grant.
c) The manure scraper system must be purchased and installed in the barn together with new construction and capacity increase/rehabilitation as part of the barn construction investment.
d) Other machinery, tools and equipment, feed preparation machine, mobile milking machine, milk cooling tank, animal scratching unit, and automatic drinker equipment can be purchased independently or together, and make sure that comply with the application conditions.
e) Technical details, capacity amounts, procurement, and other conditions regarding the purchase of machinery, tools, and equipment will be explained in detail in the project implementation guide to be prepared by the Ministry, and the grant beneficiaries will be obliged to comply with the conditions to be announced.
