European Market for Arable Farm Equipment: a Picture Full of Contrasts
CEMA Press Release; Brussels/Frankfurt/M., 24 March 2017 – The decline in sales of arable farm equipment[1] in Europe slowed down in 2016 and is expected to come to a halt this year. According to provisional calculations, sales in 2016 totalled EUR 3.33bn, a decrease of -2% compared to 2015. For 2017, the industry believes the market will stabilize once again in Europe and could even grow by 1%.
World Tractor Market Slightly Declines in 2016
According to the Agrievolution world tractor market report covering the whole year 2016, the number of new tractors sold globally is 1.9 million, which is a 2% decline compared to the year 2015. Nevertheless global market seems doing well, with some markets going up and some going down.
