The Turkish tractor sector’s total production has reached 5,923 units in May and 32,140 units in the first five months of this year. The figure marked an increase of 134 percent in May and 141.2 percent in the January-May period compared to the same time of last year, when tractor production briefly came to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic restrictions, according to the report.
