Journal of Agricultural Machinery Science is published triannually, and the language of the journal is English and Turkish. The journal accepts new and original scientific research articles and reviews that were made in the fields of agricultural machinery and technologies from all over the world, which have not been sent to be evaluated and published before, and electronic publishing is made of the manuscripts that were decided to be published as a result of the review process.
September Export Surge May Point to More Sustainable Recovery in Tractor and Farm Equipment!
The industry appeared to be gathering pace in September as exports rose the most this year, adding to hopes for a more sustained recovery in Turkey. According to the foreign trade data of the January-September period, exports in 2020 fall by 4.1 percent compared to 2019 and reached a level of 735 million USD. However, in this period tractor exports decreased, equipment exports increased.
COVID-19 Unfavourably Impacted Tractor Registrations in the First Half of 2020!
According to figures from national authorities 89,105 tractors were registered in Europe in the first six months of 2020. Of the registered tractors, 23,556 units were 37 kW (50 hp) and below, 65,549 were 38 kW and above. It is estimated that 68,831 of these vehicles are agricultural tractors, while the remainders are ATVs, telescopic handlers, and other equipment.
Ag-Machinery Business Climate Attains a Better Level Than Before COVID-19 Throughout the EU!
According to the September results of the sectoral monthly Business Barometer survey conducted by CEMA -European Agricultural Machinery Association, It is noteworthy that the business environment index (on a scale between -100 and +100), which has been improving for a while, has reached -1 points, and although it is in the negative region, the markets have reached a better level compared to the period before COVID-19.
