Farm Machinery Output Report: Tractor Production Has Revved Up in May!

The Turkish tractor sector’s total production has reached 5,923 units in May and 32,140 units in the first five months of this year. The figure marked an increase of 134 percent in May and 141.2 percent in the January-May period compared to the same time of last year, when tractor production briefly came to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic restrictions, according to the report.
As a side note, there was an increase of 73.9 percent in tractor exports compared to May of the previous year, and an increase of 32.4 percent in the cumulative total for the January-May period.
