Smart Solutions for Agriculture Brace the EU Eco-Schemes! (CEMA Position Paper)

CEMA (European Agricultural Machinery Association) has recently announced a position paper under the title “Smart Agriculture Solutions Support EU Eco-Plans".
The main reflection of the document focuses on digital transformation and smart agriculture, enabling the European Green Deal (EU Green Deal) in agriculture. CEMA has the view that our industry can make a significant contribution to sustainable agricultural practices within the scope of the new EU Eco Plans through precision agriculture technologies.
On this occasion, CEMA addresses several questions critical to the agricultural machinery industry*:
- What are the challenges driving a paradigm shift in EU agriculture?
- How can digitalization support the new EU Eco-Schemes?
- What PATs are most fundamental to deliver on sustainable farming practices?
